On September 23rd 2025, we officially launched the ASBhive x TBN Impact Accelerator 2025, and we are thrilled to welcome our amazing cohort of impact-driven changemakers! To kick things off, each participant received a thoughtfully curated Welcome Kit, not just a bundle of goodies, but a collection of stories, missions, and impact from our local social enterprise partners.
For this inaugural edition of our Accelerator, we wanted our Welcome Kit to be more than just a bundle of goodies. Each item was carefully curated and sourced from local social enterprises which signifies a conscious effort to show our strong support for the values they uphold, the causes they champion, and the impact they create in society. By featuring their products and vouchers, we also aim to increase their visibility and encourage more people to discover, appreciate, and support these businesses. Because backing social enterprises isn’t just about buying their products, it’s about fueling a ripple of change. It means new livelihoods for communities, keeping our heritage alive, and building a better tomorrow together. Purposeful, and exactly the kind of future we want to see and be part of.

Let’s take a peek inside the kit:
First up, the program edition tote bag; a special piece that celebrates the identity of impact makers. More than just a carryall, it represents the spirit of collaboration and the diverse journeys of the social enterprises we work with.
Of course, no Malaysian welcome is complete without sambal! Our participants are treated to a set of three sambal jars from Graze Market. Made using surplus ingredients, these small-batch sauces are preservative-free and MSG-free. The trio: Sambal Hijau, Mango Habanero, and Steamboat Chili – does not just pack a punch of flavor, but also carries Graze Market’s mission of fighting food waste and promoting sustainable consumption.
For a little self-care with purpose, we’ve included gift vouchers from Cut x Dignity. Since 2018, Cut x Dignity has been equipping and empowering youth with hairdressing skills, giving them both livelihood opportunities and a platform for growth. With every haircut, they are cutting through barriers and creating brighter futures.
Adding eco-friendly flair, we have tucked in handcrafted teakwood utensils from Nusantara Creation. Stylish, sustainable, and practical, they bring a little Nusantara heritage into everyday meals and prove that even a spoon and fork can have a story to tell.
Our kit also included a handcrafted notebook from Komuniti Tukang Jahit. Each notebook is a symbol of resilience, sewn with care by B40 women who have been trained and certified in sewing skills. It is a reminder that empowerment can be stitched into everyday objects, transforming lives one seam at a time.
And for the heart and mind, participants get the Rimau & Oyen storybook by Conscious, a publication that champions sustainability, resilience, and purpose-driven living. It is a beautiful addition to the kit, sparking reflection and inspiring participants to align their entrepreneurial journeys with greater impact.
Finally, we have also added a crafted keychain from Earth Heir Collective, bringing a touch of purpose to everyday carry while supporting artisans and preserving heritage craftsmanship.
The spirit of this kit was beautifully captured by one of our Accelerator 2025 participants, Nurlina from Inspira Comms, who shared:
“Thank you for the totebag with the goodies from different social enterprises. To me, it’s more than just a gift, it’s a reminder of the impact we can make by supporting meaningful causes. Every item carries a story of purpose, empowerment, and positive change.”
As the program unfolds, we look forward to seeing how these symbols of innovation and empowerment accompany participants in their journey to innovate, build, sustain, and scale!
