Session 1: Converting Errors into Opportunities — Professor Michael Frese 

World-renowned organizational psychologist Professor Michael Frese opened the series with a thought-provoking lecture on “What to Do with Errors & Mistakes.”

The second session, moderated by  Redza Shahid, Assistant Director of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at ASBhive, brought the spotlight to a powerful panel of changemakers:

What made this session remarkable was its genuine honesty. Instead of polished, one-dimensional success stories, the panel shared about the real struggles of entrepreneurship in navigating uncertainty, managing risks, securing investor trust, and finding resilience amidst setbacks. 

 

Redza’s moderating style drew out raw and engaging reflections, sparking a candid dialogue between the panel and the audience. From investors’ perspectives on what makes startups thrive, to founders’ personal anecdotes of perseverance, the conversation was not only thought-provoking but also deeply humanizing. Attendees walked away with more than strategies, they carried with them the reassurance that thriving in entrepreneurship comes from authenticity, adaptability, and resilience.
