About the hackathon
A Fintech Sprint That Matters – ASBhive FINVERSE is not your typical hackathon. It’s a national challenge to rewire financial infrastructure for climate resilience, trust, and inclusive innovation.
Teams will tackle bold fintech challenges across open finance, sustainability, and fraud prevention—building virtually over a weekend, then pitching live during MyFintech Week 2025.
Whether you’re a student, startup, or sector expert, if you can build, model, or pitch—this is for you.
Challenge Tracks #1
No calculators. No dashboards. We want breakthroughs.
Your Objective:
- Unlock new capital flows for sustainability
- Make green finance accessible to the masses
- Incentivize sustainable behavior
- Improve trust, traceability, or inclusivity

- Parametric microinsurance for floods
- Tokenized green bonds for retail
- ESG-linked savings platforms
- Carbon impact wallets via open banking

How it Works
Hackathon format:
- Hybrid Format
- Virtual Build over the weekend (Aug 2-4) with live, in-person at Demo Lab on August 4.
Submission Deadline:
- Final Deliverables must be submitted by 9 AM on August
Final Pitch Format:
- 5 Minute-Pitch + Q&A, Judged live at ASBhive Demo Lab
