ASBhive Workshop – Business Model Canvas
8th February – The Business Model Canvas (BMC) Workshop was conducted by Redza Shahid at Demo Lab 2, providing an interactive and insightful session for aspiring entrepreneurs. A total of 17 participants attended the 4-hour interactive session, where they were introduced to structured methodologies for designing, analyzing, and refining their business ideas. The session provided a step-by-step guide to using the Business Model Canvas, helping entrepreneurs visualize key business components and align their strategies effectively.

Recently, the AI for Entrepreneurs Workshop was held on February 8th, led by Zad Chin, bringing together 21 participants from diverse backgrounds. gained valuable insights into AI’s role in business innovation, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to implement technology-driven strategies within their ventures
The workshop provided a hands-on learning experience tailored for both aspiring and current entrepreneurs looking to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into their business ventures.
The session focused on practical AI applications, helping participants leverage technology to enhance business model development and operational efficiency. One of the key highlights was a hands-on chatbot-building session led by Zad, demonstrating AI-driven solutions in the ground scenarios.
Pitch@ASB: Learn2Pitch Session
On February 26th, three startups—Headtech, Gaharu Creations, and Cleve.ai—pitched their business ideas to a panel of experts, including venture-backed startup founders, entrepreneur support organizations, and venture capitalists.
One key takeaway from the session was that many pitches lacked a clear structure and fundamental guidelines, making them less impactful. To deliver a more compelling pitch, startups should focus on understanding and refining the structure of their pitch decks.

TBN Malaysia Meetup & Sharing – Scaling Social Enterprise & Winning Investor Confidence
12th February – The TBN Malaysia Meetup & Sharing in atAsia School of Business brought together 90 attendees in Demo Lab 1. The session ranging from social entrepreneurs, investors, and changemakers to explore strategies for scaling impact-driven ventures. Key highlights included an insightful keynote by Dato’ Dr. Kim Tan, the launch of the TBN Malaysia x ASBhive Impact Hub, to strengthen social entrepreneurship efforts. Attendees also toured ASBhive’s innovation space, gaining insights into its resources for entrepreneurs.
TBN (Transformational Business Network) Asia is a network that supports social enterprises in Southeast Asia by providing training, mentorship, and investor connections to help businesses scale and create sustainable impact in marginalized communities.
